Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD) will increase prices of its Airthane® and Versathane® polyurethane prepolymers, Versalink® oligomeric diamine curatives and Primax® surface modified particles sold to all markets in the United States and Canada, effective February 23, 2001. Prepolymer prices will increase by 4 to 8 cents per pound, depending on its backbone composition. Diamine curatives will increase by 15 cents per pound and modified particles by 5 cents per pound.

These changes are necessary to recover continuing increases in raw material costs and higher costs associated with the production of these products.
