Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD) will unveil Surfynol® 2502, the first of a new generation of multifunctional and environmentally friendly surfactants, at the European Coatings Show in Nürnberg, Germany (2-5 April 2001).

Delivering better foam destabilisation, dynamic surface tension and system stability, Surfynol® 2502 surfactant offers improved production and product quality to producers of printing inks, packaging inks and metalworking fluids.

Surfynol® 2502 will also assist formulators facing growing regulatory pressure to limit VOC emissions by helping to reduce the need for certain widely-used solvents in the production process.

The advantages of Surfynol® 2502 will be explained in-depth during the congress at a presentation of a paper entitled 'Acetylenic Glycol-Based Surfactants for use in Fountain Solutions', Tuesday 3 April. The paper will be presented during the Dispersion/Stabilisation session in Room Brussel 6.

Air Products will be exhibiting in Hall 3, stand 555 at the European Coatings Show.
