Newest Offering is Low Cost Alternative

Air Products announced today the launch of GASGUARD^® TE1, a lower cost offering for delivery of inert, flammable and oxidizer gases in ultrahigh purity electronic applications. The GASGUARD TE1, with its text enabled controller interface and configuration option bundles, is an ideal solution for research facilities, universities, and manufacturing plants who value convenience and low cost. Customers could realize savings as high as 40 percent compared to standard gas cabinet pricing, with the same high reliability components and auto-crossover functionality for uninterrupted supply.

The TE1 builds on the mass customization capabilities of the GASGUARD family of gas delivery systems. The core design features high reliability and independently verified components from various manufacturers. Panel functionality, final component selection, and enclosure design can then be tailored to specific requirements. Customer configurable options include cylinder scales, pneumatic cylinder valves, purge gas supply, double valve process isolation, excess flow switch, as well as cabinet enclosure and controller options.

The TE1 features a text-enabled controller with touch pad interface, offering users password protected access to multiple operation and configuration screens. More information about the controller will be unveiled at SEMICON West in San Francisco, Calif.
