Air Products (NYSE: APD) today announced that, effective December 1, 2004, it will implement a fuel surcharge for high purity process chemicals and electronic specialty gases and chemicals. The surcharge will be implemented on a container basis. This action is being taken in response to continuing fuel surcharges Air Products incurs in freight and transportation in connection with the delivery of these products.
